Our courses are principally based on the Bhagavad Gita which was spoken 5,000 years ago in the holy place of Kurukshetra in North India. The College has developed structured formats to help clearly understand the ancient text and provide clarity on how the teachings are still relevant to all of mankind in this day and age. The teachings of the Bhagavad Gita are timeless and have been highly praised by many great personalities including Albert Einstein, J. Robert Oppenheimer and Mahatma Gandhi.

Explore is our foundational level Bhagavad Gita course which will give you a very good insight into the essence of vedic knowledge and the ancient text.

All of us have questions about life. Who are we? Why are we here? Why do bad things happen to good people? What happens after death? But living in such a fast paced world we run out of time to eat, drink and even sleep let alone find time to explore our deeper thoughts. Explore focuses on the key themes of the Bhagavad Gita which is universally renowned as the crown jewel of India’s spiritual wisdom. Spoken by Lord Krishna, to His intimate friend, Arjuna, the Bhagavad Gita’s 700 concise verses provide a definitive guide to the science of yoga and self-realization.

In 4 sessions, the course will cover the principal themes of the Bhagavad Gita and how they are still relevant today. The style of learning for the course will  be quite active which has proven to be highly effective to help better understand the text. The course will include powerpoint presentations, interactive exercises, personal reflection and plenty of question and answer opportunities. You are encouraged to ask questions throughout the course and satisfy your curiosities.

Bhakti Life is our third stage Bhagavad Gita course and is open to individuals who have completed the Gita Life course.

In Bhakti Life you will learn how to incorporate the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita into your lives through the practice of bhakti yoga as recommended in the text. Bhakti yoga is not an armchair philosophy, a religious doctrine or a Sunday ritual. It is a way of life. While the process may appear simplistic, when practiced with sincerity and purity it actually combines and synthesizes all other yoga disciplines making this the topmost yoga system as revealed in the ancient scriptures.

The practice of each aspect of bhakti yoga is unlimited, and it can be developed, enhanced and refined over time. Engaging in these practical acts of bhakti yoga will awaken a deep sense of fulfillment, happiness and enduring satisfaction.

This course provides an opportunity to learn more about the practice of bhakti, in today’s modern world.
